Alice!

Hello! I wanted to blog about Alice in Wonderland.

I know. its late.

I watched it weeks ago.

I was supposed to watch it in 3d, I was damn excited summore. But then, wow, this is damn potong-stim btw, there was something wrong with the film that GSC couldn't fix in time so we got refunds instead.

MEH.

So I ended up watching it 2 days after that in 2D. Boohoo.

Now, a lot of people said it was shit right?

WHY?????

I thought it was really good! sure yeah its different from the disney movie, but thats only because its a different storyline! Its like.. supposed to be a sequel. sort of.

Thats why everyone was like saying its the alice from the past etcetc and the mad hatter was all emo when alice didnt remember him.

The graphics were fantastic, though at times its hard to tell whether something is really being acted out or if it was computer generated, which is a good thing i guess.

blend everything together so that its all fantasy-like innit?

The overall storyline was a bit meh. Nothing special. But I was still pretty entertained :D I dont think Alice (i dont even know the actress's real name) is very good as an actress though.

I'm so sick of seeing Helena Bonham Carter act as the insane lady. She's good at it yeah, excellent at it in fact, but come on. I keep imagining its Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter who is the red queen, with the Engorgio spell casted onto her head.

Johnny Depp was good though! He's so adorable la. I love him as the Mad Hatter *heart*

and he was proper insane.

One minute he's speaking with his british accent, another he's speaking in his Irish accent. I kept thinking "wtf? why so mad wan... oh. right."

Ha.

I also looooooved the white queen. People got annoyed with her and her arm movements, I was laughing my ass off. I thought she was so adorable! hahaha. And to do that with a straight face.. reminds me of Natalie Tran a bit, ha. I lol-ed. I liked her a lot.

One thing that I hated though was the ending. Like, wtf? What does bringing her father's business to China have to do with anything.. it was so irrelevant.

and I got a very weird lovey dovey vibe between Alice and the Mad Hatter. Like as if they were gonna kiss at the ending scene when Alice just kills the jabberwokee. I know its supposed to be a father-daughter relationship thing going on but I totally did NOT get that vibe. I got a very very romantic vibe instead. I was all "awww :(" when The Mad Hatter was all "you could stay.. :)" . Wuwuwu. I'll stay with youuuuu!

Ahem.

Yeah. I was also veeerry pleased to see Crispin Glover as that knight dude!! I forgot his name now, but he is basically the red queen's captain sergeant fella. With that heart eye-patch. Yeah, this dude.

Him.I totally forgot about Crispin Glover man. I thought he retired or something. He plays the creepy thin man in the Charlie's Angels movies :D and he also played Willard, the dude who likes to keep creepy rats as pets in the movie called.. Willard. Ha. I cant believe I watched that movie. It was proper WEIRD. and CREEPY.

Omg. I'm checking him out on imdb now, CRAP he plays Marty Mcfly's dad in Back to the future!!! wtf!! I did not know this!! hahaha!

I love it when this happens! You imdb a star, or a movie, and you find out things that make you react like how I did. Like damn "EHH WHAT A SMALL WORLD!!", that kind of reaction, you know? I love it when that happens. hahaha. I love the internet T_T

Anyway, I digress.

So yeah, overall? I'll give this movie a 4/5! :D

and a mini update. Today, I woke up at 2.30pm (slept at 4am last night btw, craaaaashed haha), played some Badminton at 4pm, ate pizza while watching Man U vs Chelsea in HD at vicky's house, wii-ed at vicky's house, and came home early because Julia had to meet her curfew.

lol. Man U lost to Chelsea because dogba scored when it was clearly offside. Poor Man U. I cant believe I said that. But I really wanted to guys to draw so that at least Arsenal still has a shot.. :D

Oh well. Cant always get what you want.
